Hi! I’m sorry if this is a little awkward. This is my first time writing an article, and I know I could have done things better. But here it is anyway. It’s hard to admit that your work isn’t perfect, but any writer will tell you that perfection doesn’t exist in writing or anything else for that matter.

That’s a tough sell! If we were talking about giving up money instead of time, you’d be able to ask for more subscribers… but unfortunately, that’s not how things work.

The subject line is the most important part of your email marketing campaign since it’s the first thing people see when they open their inboxes. Make sure yours is short and descriptive so that people can quickly understand what they will gain from opening it.

Use An Eye-Catching Call-To-Action Button Or Link

Use an eye-catching call-to-action button or link in the body of your emails to drive subscribers to take action (e.g., “Learn more,” “Sign up now!”). This should be placed near or at the end of each message so readers don’t miss it as they scroll through their inboxes on mobile devices particularly important for those who only check their mail once a day or less often than that.

Use A Pop-Up Window (But Not Too Often)

If you’re going to use this tactic, make sure it’s not too intrusive. That means only showing it once per person per day or session. This is called a “one-time offer” or OTO and if you do this right, it can work very well for you!

For example: Let’s say your product costs $100 and has an average conversion rate of 2%. If someone buys your product and then signs up for your email list, they are probably pretty interested in what else you have to offer (and they’ll be more inclined to buy again). If someone signs up but doesn’t purchase anything on the first try (or at all), don’t show them the popup again until they do either signup or buy something from inside their account.

Post About It On Facebook

You’ve built your email list, now you have to keep growing it. The best way to do that is by sharing valuable content with your audience and giving them a reason to subscribe. 

Posting on Facebook is one of the best ways to do this because it’s quick and easy, plus most people are more active there than they are on Twitter or LinkedIn due to the nature of those networks. When posting about your optin offer, include a link directly to where subscribers can get access, and don’t be afraid of being pushy! If someone isn’t interested in what you’re offering then they won’t click through anyway. 

But if they are interested but haven’t seen the post yet or made up their mind about joining yet then encourage them as much as possible so that they’ll decide right now if this is something worth signing up for (because once they leave Facebook then there’s no telling when another notification might pop-up). Just make sure not too many times though; otherwise, people will start unfollowing/unliking, etc.

Make Sure You Don’t Have Any Spelling Or Grammar Mistakes On Your Optin Form Or Landing Page

Make sure your optin form is relevant to your audience. If you’re sending a newsletter about marketing, it’s not going to make sense for someone who works in human resources and has never heard of Snapchat before.

You can also help grow your list by sharing your content on Twitter. To do this, try searching for hashtags related to your niche, or join Twitter chats that are relevant to what you’re trying to promote (for example #entrepreneur). You can find these by searching the hashtag of the topic on Twitter or checking out 

Once there, you’ll see a list of all the tweets that include that hashtag on a certain day or within a certain time frame (e.g., all tweets with the #contentmarketing hashtag from last week). You should also consider retweeting other people’s content as well this will increase their reach while helping spread awareness about what they have created too!

Use An In-Post Popup Plugin (But Don’t Overdo It)

Use an in-post popup plugin to increase your email subscribers. There are a ton of options out there, but the one I use is OptinMonster. The reason this particular plugin works so well for me is that it’s not too overpowering it’s just enough to get people’s attention and let them know that you want them to sign up for your list.

If you’re going to use a pop-up, make sure you don’t overdo it! Pop-ups can be annoying if they’re used too often or at inappropriate times (a customer reading an article that doesn’t have anything to do with what they’re looking at). It’s important to balance out how much attention you want from these visitors by providing value through your content and not just trying to get clicks everywhere possible without thinking about what those clicks mean in terms of the reader experience.

Create An Irresistible Freebie To Give Away In Return For Emails

The freebie is the bait you’re giving away in return for emails. It’s what will get your readers to give you their email addresses, and it’s also how you’ll build trust and credibility with them.

The first thing that comes to mind when we think of a freebie is probably some kind of PDF guide or ebook. But there are lots of other types of attractive freebies out there, such as:

  • A coupon code for an online store (like Amazon or Etsy)
  • A link to a downloadable course
  • An invitation to join a private Facebook group where other people are sharing their knowledge and experiences

Cross-Promote With Other Bloggers/Websites/Etc That Have Similar Interests As You

To increase your reach, find bloggers with similar interests as you and contact them about writing a guest post for them. This is a two-way street; they’ll likely be interested in having someone write on their site with similar content, and it will also help drive readership to your blog/website. In exchange for writing an article for them (and including a link back to your opt-in page), include an affiliate link or market their product or service within the content itself (if applicable).

You want to make it as easy as possible for people to sign up for your email list. If a user has to go through the trouble of finding the sign-up form and then typing in their email address and other information on a tiny, hard-to-use form, they’ll find another place where their attention can be captured.

Here’s what you can do:

Make your signup process easy to find. People should be able to see it immediately after landing on your homepage or within five seconds of entering any page on your website (without having to scroll). 

Not only that, but the entire page should explain why people would want to subscribe in such an attractive way that even skeptics will be convinced by how much value they’re getting out of being part of this community (and they’ll probably want in).

Make the form easy enough for anyone to fill it out without needing special training or assistance from IT experts who understand complex coding languages better than anyone else ever did even if that means having fewer fields than competitors might require (or charging more money per month). 

This might mean reducing text fields from 15 words down to 20 words per option. It could also mean allowing subscribers an “other” option where they can leave comments about why exactly these features matter so much for them;
