If it’s not specified in the posting what type of attire is appropriate, play it safe by dressing professionally which means no shorts or t-shirts (unless you’re applying for an internship) and no sweatpants!

Be confident but not arrogant. It can be difficult to strike this balance sometimes when talking about yourself, but try your best not to brag as much as possible while still demonstrating confidence in all aspects of your abilities as an employee you know that saying: actions speak louder than words? In this case, it’s true! 

The more confidence someone has without being arrogant will usually win them favor over those who are overly boastful with their accomplishments because most people don’t want employees who make everyone else feel inferior at their jobs.

Follow Up With Every Person You Meet
