For example, maybe everyone else is creating long-form articles but yours will be short-form videos because they are easier to consume on mobile devices.
Or maybe everyone else is posting once a week but yours will post twice a day because readers like having fresh content at their fingertips throughout the day or week so they never miss anything important or interesting happening online right now (and depending on who else competes against).
Know your audience: As much as possible about them too! This includes their age group and gender (if known), their hobbies/interests/passions, etc., where they live geographically (in what country), what language(s) do they speak fluently besides English; whether . . .

You will never be successful with blogging as a career unless your heart is in it and there is something at stake for yourself.
The truth is that we can only do things well when we truly care about them.
I know some people who make amazing money from their blogs and have hundreds of thousands of followers on social media because they are passionate about what they talk about and write about online and because they are honest with themselves about how much time they put into their blogs each day!
If something doesn’t come easily to someone else (like making money), then there’s no way they could ever be successful at it either!
