Another benefit is that the jobs pay pretty well and often have multiple applications, meaning companies are competing to give you the best offer for your services. It’s like having an entire marketplace full of hungry customers waiting for someone with a good deal.
I think the most important thing before starting is setting goals for yourself. Don’t worry about what other people’s goals are – instead, be ambitious and set great goals for yourself! This will help motivate you as new projects come through and help keep you on track to achieve those goals.

Freelance email marketing has many benefits. For one, you get to be your boss. You have the freedom to do what you want and the freedom to make decisions on your own. You can manage your own time and are responsible for your work, whether it’s done or not.
Unlike a regular 9-5 job where you work at an office under someone who tells you what to do, freelance email marketing lets you work from anywhere: home, Starbucks, a beach in Bali it’s up to you!
3. Work From Anywhere
In my experience, the best thing about being a freelance email marketer is its flexibility. With so many options to work from whatever location you choose, you’ll be hard-pressed to find things to complain about. Below are some of my favorite places to work:
The home office: When I’m feeling like I need complete silence and zero distractions (or when it’s too cold/hot outside), this is where I go.
The co-working space: My co-working space offers me a quiet place to get stuff done, but has enough shared spaces that it still feels social without the distractions of working from home.
Also, if you want people to chit-chat with and bounce ideas off of, this is a great place for that. Your favorite coffee shop or cafe: Find one where no one bothers you and the coffee flows freely? That’s my jam!

When you work as a freelancer, you can work as much or as little as you like. You can also work whenever you want, whether that’s 9-5 Mon-Fri or 6-10 Mon-Sun. And because it’s contract work, you choose the projects that appeal to your interests and needs.
You can choose to take on slow projects if money isn’t the main motivator for your freelance job search, or you can take on fast-paced projects if money is your *only* motivator.
Whatever your motivation may be, it’s important to note that working from home as a freelancer means not having someone looking over your shoulder all day making sure everything gets done according to their schedule.
This means no more scheduling doctor’s appointments around an afternoon meeting at 3 pm when the office closes at 4 pm. It also means no more eating lunch at 11 am so you can get back to your desk by noon when everyone else breaks for lunch!

Of the many benefits of working freelance, the flexibility of hours is one of my favorites. As a freelancer, you can customize your work schedule to fit your needs. You can work around the clock if that’s what works for you. You can work when it’s convenient for you (maybe when your children are sleeping or in school). You can work when you want to (when you feel most productive).
6. There Is Always Work Available On Freelancing Sites
If you’re just starting, I think the best way to get your feet wet is by checking out freelancing sites. There are plenty of sites that allow you to post a job or apply for one. The great thing about these sites is that they can help you find a job in no time. It only takes a few minutes to find a job that matches your skills and experience.
Even if you don’t have any experience with email marketing, there’s always work available on freelancing sites, especially if you love writing. There are plenty of other digital marketing-related jobs that you can apply for as well.
7. No Need For Employees To Work On Your Projects
You don’t have to have employees. One of the best things about email marketing is that you can scale easily with freelancers working on your projects. That means you do not have to hire full-time employees, but rather you can hire contractors on sites like UpWork or Fiverr to complete tasks for you.
Not only that, but you also outsource to other freelancers when needed as well (like I do). This makes it easy and inexpensive to start an email marketing business with very little capital investment. 8. You Are In Charge Of Your Life
You have to choose. Where you live and how you do your work are up to you, and they can be changeable at any period. This is a powerful kind of freedom, and one that freelancers will understand personally you can choose what projects are right for you right now, rather than having it determined by your boss based on who has the most money (or least expensive labor).
More importantly, freelancing allows you to adapt your work hours according to the needs of your clients or business at large. You may want a flexible schedule when it comes to working from home.
Other times, you may prefer working from an office with coworkers so that you can interact with the people in your department. Or maybe at some point late in life, your health won’t allow for long hours of sitting at a desk (even if someone’s paying for it), or maybe someone else wants to take over the task of doing freelance marketing but doesn’t want anything to do with email marketing themselves.
There’s no one-size-fits-all model when it comes to setting up email marketing as a freelancer because every person has their reasons why they’re choosing this profession and approach you just have to figure out what those are and make sure that they’re all represented in whatever plan you come up with.

Here’s the part that gets me excited. There are so many possibilities for you and your business. As you take on more clients, your income has no limit. You can build a successful business with recurring monthly revenue. You can have a full-time job working from anywhere in the world. You can work from home and create your schedule.
You don’t have to be in an office from 9-5 every day, or even spend 40 hours per week working if that’s not what you want to do! The freedom of freelancing is one of my favorite aspects of doing this kind of job. You can take vacations whenever you want without needing permission from anyone else (as long as you get your work done, of course). You’re in charge of your life and what happens with it.
10. There Is No Limit To What You Earn
One of the biggest benefits (to me, anyway) is that you can earn as much as you want. The sky’s the limit. With a full-time job, there are limits to how much you can earn. Even if you get a promotion or ask for a raise, there’s only so much money your company can pay you.
On the other hand, with freelancing, you choose what to charge your clients and there are no limits on what rates you can set. You can work for yourself or work for other people as an employee. There are also unlimited opportunities from both sides:
If I was doing freelancing now I would spend my time working for myself first before finding clients to build up my own business, then later on when that starts making money, use the profits to fund some hired employees and scale up even further!
