I’ve found that it’s best, to be honest about what you charge. Don’t try to make your work seem more expensive than it really is. If someone asks you how much they should pay for a blog post, tell them what you charge and why that’s the right price for their needs.

If someone wants an entire book written, don’t be afraid to say no if the offer isn’t sufficient in terms of compensation or time commitment required. 

Don’t allow yourself to get caught up in trying to please everyone by taking on projects that are too big even if they seem like fun! Your time is valuable and not something that should be given away cheaply or frivolously! 

Be sure that any work assignment fits into one of four categories: easy, medium-easy-hard (EMH), hard-impossible-impossible-and impossible (HIHIP).
