For example, writing a book on “how to cook everything” would be difficult unless it was broken down into sections; otherwise, people would need too much background knowledge before they could understand what’s being taught.
Choose a topic that is not too narrow or detailed; otherwise, experts might find fault with certain points while others might feel overwhelmed by its simplicity (or vice versa). The Goldilocks principle applies here: A book should be neither too specific nor too broad but rather just right!

Write An Outline Of Your Book In Seven Days
Writing an outline for your book is the first step to getting it done. You can write a book in seven days, but you won’t do it without a plan.
An outline is essentially a blueprint for your book and having one will help you stay on track and ensure that each section will be published on time.
It doesn’t matter if you have experience writing or not: there are plenty of free resources online that can help you create an effective outline for your manuscript (or even use Microsoft Word’s built-in feature).

- Write for at least 30 minutes per day (but don’t worry if you can only write 5 minutes per day).

- Don’t worry about writing every day (it’s okay if your book has gaps between chapters). Just do your best not to go more than two weeks without doing any work on it at all.
- Don’t worry about how much you write in each sitting just keep going until it feels right, then stop when that feeling goes away and start again tomorrow!
