For example, let’s say that I’m an awesome writer and my friend Alice is an amazing designer. We decide to start a website-building team together where we share the profits 50/50. Here’s how that might work out: 

  • Alice designs our website while I write content for it.
  • Next month, Alice designs another website while I write more content.

After three months of working together as partners in this fashion, our site gets picked up by Google Adsense but guess what? It turns out that writing ad copy isn’t my strong suit!
