You can’t be a thought leader if you don’t know who is going to read your content or contribute articles on the subject. If you don’t have an idea of who this audience is and how big or small it is then you won’t be able to serve them by providing value through your writing.

Make Sure Your Content Is Original

You’ve probably heard the old saying, “content is king.” But how can you make sure that your content is truly unique?

The first step is to ensure that the content you create isn’t copied from somewhere else. You should always do your research and write from your perspective, especially if someone else has already written about the topic you’re writing about. If there’s no need for competition in this space, then why try to compete at all?

There are other ways to differentiate yourself as well: you could use a different angle or approach than others have taken before; take a practical approach instead of an academic one, or identify a new problem that needs solving and provide a solution through your own experience.

You always want to be on top of trends too if someone else has already written something similar but with more information or more examples (and better photos), chances are yours won’t stand out as much unless it includes something truly unique.

The biggest challenge for thought leaders is that they don’t write enough content, and when they do, it’s not consistent. To make sure you’re establishing yourself as a thought leader in your niche, start by creating a pipeline of content. 

Write down all the topics that you would like to cover over the next few months and assign each one a date by which it should be published. This will give you time to research each topic while also allowing enough time between posts so that people don’t forget about what makes you unique (and why they need to follow your blog).

In addition to planning out your content calendar, I also recommend setting up Google Calendars (or other scheduling apps) for each type of post: blog posts, social media updates, and emails sent out through email marketing software like MailChimp or Constant Contact. 

This way everything stays organized so there’s no confusion about when certain things are due and so nothing slips through the cracks!

There are a few ways to be consistent. One is by having the same publishing schedule and posting content consistently. For example, if you want to post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, do it! It doesn’t matter what day of the week it is as long as you stick with your plan and do it.

Another way of being consistent is by making sure that you’re always putting out quality content. Don’t just throw up whatever because consistency doesn’t mean quantity; it means high-quality work that matters to your audience at all times and in all situations.

Promote It Strategically

Use social media to promote your content. You can do this by posting links to your content on Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms. If you have a YouTube channel or podcast, promote those too!

Use email marketing to promote your content. For example, I send out an email newsletter every week with links to stories from around the web that I find interesting or useful for my audience of freelancers and entrepreneurs who want to create their websites but don’t know how or where to start. 

This way they know what they should read each week if they want more information on topics like SEO/SEM, social media marketing etcetera. Your email list is also valuable because you can use it later on when promoting something else (e-books, services, etc).

Use paid advertising (PPC) campaigns. For people who are interested in seeing what all these great things are about themselves not just hearing about them from some random person online but seeing what others say about being able to set up their website using WordPress as well as other related things such as domain names & hosting providers; product reviews; software tutorials etcetera…

For example: if someone searches “WordPress Tutorial How To Create A Website” on Google then maybe one day soon instead of getting results only showing up there will be ads popping up saying something like “Check out this tutorial right now!” 

And then when clicking through it’ll show videos explaining everything steps by step which means someone doesn’t even need any technical knowledge anymore since everything has already been covered there beforehand so now all that’s left is just putting everything together 🙂
