It Seems Like A Big Number
1,000,000 is a big number. It’s also the number of people you can reach on Facebook for free if you’re willing to post at least once a day and invest your time in creating content that will appeal to them.
If you’re not committed to posting regularly and creating high-quality content, then reaching 1,000,000 people might seem like an impossible task but it’s really not.
In just four months of consistently posting on my social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), I reached over 600k followers and doubled my following from the year before. The key for me was consistency: I posted every day without fail.
And when I say “every day,” I mean it I even posted during holidays or vacations!

Set Yourself Up For Success
If you’re serious about growing your business, then now is the time to set up an email address for your business. It will be used for all communications with potential customers, including sending newsletters and welcome emails. Be sure to include your website link in the signature line of all emails.
Next, create a free website or blog on WordPress or WordPress.com so that visitors can get a better idea of what your business offers without having to visit Google first. Add some pictures of yourself and other staff members so people can see who they would be working with if they hired you as their photographer/caterer/etcetera.
Now it’s time to create social media pages for Facebook and Twitter so that new clients can easily find out more about what kind of things happen at your events or how delicious those cupcakes look when they come out fresh from the oven Make sure that every post links back over here though because we still want people coming back here where it’s safe (because we’re not spamming anyone).
Claim Your Facebook Page
Now that you have your Facebook business page, you need to claim it.
To do this, click “add” in the top right corner of your new Facebook page and select “Add a Page”:
Next, enter an email address that is associated with your business (this will be used as part of the verification process). You can also add a profile photo or cover photo if you’d like. Then click next:
Now just fill out all the required details and click verify when finished!

Post Something Every Day
The best way to market your business is to post something every day. Of course, it’s not always possible to post every single day, but you should try to make it a habit.
If you have time and energy for only one or two posts per week, then that’s fine too! You can still reach lots of people with just a few posts each week.
Posting three times per week will give you more exposure than posting once a month or less often but don’t overdo it! One thing that makes Facebook so great is its ability to target who sees our content based on what they already like and what they’re interested in seeing from us next time they check us out online (or while they’re scrolling through their feed).
Know When To Post On Fb
The next important thing you want to know is when your audience is most active. This is different for every business and even more so if you have a seasonal product or service. For example, summer is probably not the best time to be posting about Christmas tree sales.
If you don’t know when your audience is most active, just ask them! Send out a survey or ask on social media (remember those engagement posts from earlier?). You’ll get all sorts of interesting responses that can help you better understand your followers and what they want from you as a brand.
Once you’ve got the basics down, it’s time for step 2: figuring out what content works best for your customers/followers/potential customers/people who might like it if they saw it because it has cats in it maybe?
Use Group Posts Wisely
Group posts are a great way to reach a lot of people at once. Just make sure that when you’re using them, you don’t overdo it.
Here are some examples of when you might want to use group posts:
Promote an event
Promote products/services offered by your business
Promote content from other pages that complements yours (e.g., if you’re running a video series on YouTube and want people in the Facebook group to see it before anyone else does)

Don’t Be Annoying With Your Fb Posts
This one is a bit of a self-explanatory point, but it’s worth mentioning anyway. If you’re overloading people with your posts or constantly posting content that isn’t relevant or helpful to them, they will block or unfollow you and then you’ll have no one left to market to!
Post About Your Business Without Hard Selling
Don’t be annoying.
Don’t be pushy.
Don’t be boring.
Don’t be vague.
Don’t be too salesy (but also don’t not sell).
Don’t be too political or controversial in opinion, unless you think your customers are super open to that kind of thing (and maybe even then it’s best to stay away from politics and controversy for the most part). If you’re posting about something political or controversial, try to find some way of making it relevant to your business (there are ways!).
For example, if you own a restaurant then maybe post an article on how restaurants can help end hunger by donating food that would otherwise go unused to a local food bank; or if you run an animal rescue organization then maybe write about how people can help animals by adopting rather than buying pets from pet stores; etc., etc., etc…
You could make a whole series of posts like this! Just remember: there’s no need to make things complicated it’s far better just being straightforward and honest with whatever message(s) resonate most deeply with what makes sense for each individual business owner.”

Use #Tags And Photos In Your Posts
If you want to reach a wider audience, then you need to use hashtags in your posts. Hashtags are words or phrases that help people find relevant content related to them. For example, if you write the headline
“How To Market Your Business And Reach 1,000,000 People On Facebook For FREE” and then tag it with #socialmediamarketing and #facebookmarketing then anyone searching for those terms will be able to see your post in their feed and they can also click on it if they are interested in reading more about what you have written.
This is very important because when someone clicks on your post from seeing it as a result of using hashtags in the title of the post this means that they will be able to see all of the comments on that particular post even if they weren’t following either party before clicking through.
You can reach 1,000,000 people on Facebook for free, but you have to be committed to posting at least once a day.
