Researching the company will help you determine what kind of job you’re seeking and how much it’s worth. You’ll also be able to see if there are any opportunities for growth within the company or if they have a good reputation in your field.
Here are some things you can do:
Look up the company’s website and social media profiles, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Look up their press releases on Google News or other news sites that cover business news like Reuters, Bloomberg News and MarketWatch.
Check out their stock price on Google Finance or Nasdaq Market Watch. If possible look at it over time so you can see if there’s been recent volatility in the stock price because that could indicate instability with management or an upcoming event (like an acquisition).
Be Friendly And Ask Questions
It’s a fact that you’ll be nervous in your interview. But don’t let that get the best of you and cause you to become withdrawn or unresponsive. The interviewer is there to meet you, so show them who you are by being friendly and asking questions!
