So you’ve done some keyword research, but now it’s time to check your competitor backlinks and see what else can be done.

Check the anchor text: This is a good way to start because it will tell you what kind of link-building strategy they’re using. If they have links with “click here” or “click here to learn more,” then they might not have any real authority.
